ZUMA OWNS A LUXURIOUS HOME IN DUBAI
President Jacob Zuma is reported to own a luxurious home in Dubai courtesy of the Gupta brothers.
His immediate neighbor is Robert Gabriel Mugabe, the current and only president of Zimbambwe since 1980.
The estate is closely guarded where he owns Villa L35 situated on Lailak Street in Emirates Hills. This is the leafy suburbs of Dubai. The city is famous for its wealthy to an extent that the police drive high end cars such as Bugattis.
The Sunday Times of South Africa reported that the house has 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. I’ve never understood why houses have more bathrooms than bedrooms. There is a parking lot for 11 cars. The house is made up of expensive materials such as gold, marble and mosaic.
In the neighborhood is a house owned by the grand old man Robert Mugabe. The latter is not as luxurious as that of Zuma.
The Gupta brothers had bought the house as a retirement home for Zuma at a cost of Ksh. 3.3 Billion equivalent to USD$ 33 million. The house was bought in 2015.
The house ownership was confirmed by the leaked Gupta emails. These emails show that the house number L35 was acquired from Adib Hassan Ataya, a Lebanese businessman.
