Sharing is Caring

In a rare move by an African leader, the Zimbabwe Vice President Kembo Mohadi, has resigned after allegations of improper conduct.

Mohadi worked alongside Constantino Chiwenga as the deputy to President Emmerson Mnangagwa from 2018.

“I have been going through a soul-searching pilgrimage and realised that I need the space to deal with my problem outside the governance chair,” said the deputy president in a statement.

ZimLive, an online news outlet, had reported that Mohadi had engaged in improper sexual activities with married women including some who worked as his subordinates.

Mohadi, 70, has denied these accusations stating that this was part of a wider scheme to plot against him. He said that he will seek legal redress.
