Zinedine Zidane celebrated his 133rd win as Real Madrid head coach to move second on the club’s list.
Zinedine Zidane lead Madrid to beat Valencia 3-0 in the Spanish La Liga on Thursday.
Zinedine Zidane is in his second spell as Real Madrid head coach after returning in March 2019. He became the coach with second most wins equaling Vicente del Bosque’s record.
Miguel Munoz is on top of the list with 357 wins as head coach of Madrid, where he led the club to two European Cup triumphs and nine La Liga titles between 1960 and 1972.
Zinedine Zidane, who played for Madrid between 2001 and 2006, claimed three Champions League (2016, 2017 and 2018) trophies in the dugout.
The 47-year-old Frenchman Zinedine Zidane also won La Liga (2017), UEFA Super Cup (2016 and 2017) Club World Cup (2016 and 2017) and Supercopa de Espana (2017 and 2020) in the coaching role.
