Leaders from the East African countries have congratulated President William Ruto after he won the presidential race in the 2022 Kenyan General Elections.
President William Ruto reached the minimum of 50+1 percent as required by the Kenyan constitution. He got 50.49% of the total votes cast and is waiting for swearing in to resume power.
The congratulations came from Mnangagwa Emmerson from Zimbabwe, Mohamed Farmaajo from Somalia and the Ethiopian prime minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, in form of massages.
President William Ruto has been the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya since Jubilee coalition resumed power in 2013.
Together with his Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, there are eagerly waiting to resume the government to serve the nation.
On the other hand, the former Primer Minister Raila Odinga has not conceded defeat. Odinga had 50% and was the presidential flag bearer on Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition.
