Sabina Wanjiru Chege is a Kenyan politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Murang’a County’s Women Representative seat since 2013. She was re-elected in the 2017 and 2022 general elections.
Before joining politics, Sabina Wanjiru Chege worked as a journalist and broadcaster with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC). She also worked as a presenter and producer for a number of popular radio and television programs in Kenya.
As an MP, Sabina Wanjiru Chege has been a vocal advocate for women’s rights and empowerment, and has been involved in various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of women and girls in Kenya. She has also served as the Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Committee on Health, where Sabina Wanjiru Chege oversaw the development and implementation of health policies and programs in the country.
