In general the national budget has many items which touches on all Kenyans. For instance the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF) and Free Primary Education budgets are distributed across the country. However, the following specific development projects were identified for Dagoretti:
– Construction of a Kitchen and dormitory at Dagoretti Children Rehab School
– People 70+ years to be supported through cash transfers
– Lenana-Muchugi-Dagoretti Market Rd to be constructed
– Kikuyu Springs protection
– Completion of Kikuyu Water and Sewerage project
– Dualling of Nairobi-Dagoretti Corner Road
– PC Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute to receive Ksh. 10.1 million. The institute received the same amount in 2018;
– Kabete Technical Training Institute to receive Ksh. 2.9 million in FY 2019/2020 which is a decline from Ksh. 6 M received in FY 2018/2019;
