Wazito FC head coach, Fred Ambani, has been sacked after a series of poor results. This comes after Wazito FC were beaten 4-2 by Kakamega Homeboyz in a Kenya Premier League match that was played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
Wazito FC spent close to Ksh 10 Million on new signings but have only managed to collect 6 points this season and are at position 13 in the Kenya Premier League table.
Fred Ambani, Wazito FC head coach, has been sacked alongside the technical director Stanley Okumbi. It is believed that the two have not been in good terms.
Assistant coach Hamisi Mohammed will temporarily be in charge of Wazito’s upcoming fixtures.
Club CEO Dennis Gicheru thanked Stanley Okumbi and Fred Ambani for their service to the Club.
‘’I would like to thank Coach Fred Ambani and coach Okumbi for their great service to the club. They did a tremendous job during their time here and we wish them all the best.’ Said Gicheru.
