Newly promoted Wazito FC have confirmed the appointment of Melis Medo as their new Head Coach.
The American tactician returns to the Kenya top flight League after six months after he left Mount Kenya United, who were relegated last season.
This follows after Wazito FC sacked head Coach Fred Ambani and technical director Stanley Okumbi.
Melis Medo has promised to help Wazito FC perform better in the Kenya Premier League. Wazito are currently at 13th Position in the Kenya Premier League log.
‘’I appreciate being here and looking forward to start this pleasant and interesting journey with everyone. This is a new challenge, and I want to work with everybody to make it a success. We want to play good football and win matches in style, it is my objective. I appreciate the opportunity given by Wazito management and I will not let them down. ‘’ Medo said after he was unveiled.
The American tactician is also keen to give every player a chance to prove themselves.
‘’I do not care about names, everybody has to fight for a chance to play. It will depend on how one takes instructions and his execution on the pitch, I am not going to sideline anyone.’‘ Said Melis Medo yesterday.
Wazito FC will face Posta Rangers this Sunday at the Narok Stadium in Narok County. It will be Melis Medo’s first task with the club
