Watford have appointed Vladimir Ivic as their new head coach on a one-year contract.
The 43-year-old left Maccabi Tel Aviv in July after two successful campaigns, winning the Israeli Premier League on both campaigns.
Ivić also led PAOK to Greek Cup glory in 2016/17 season.
Ivic replaces Nigel Pearson who was fired last month.
Ivic told the Watford’s official website: “First of all, from the beginning I have a big expectation of myself and of my coaching staff.
“It’s my first time in England and I need to adapt as fast as possible, to do the best for the club is very important to me.”
Ivic will start working with the Hornets squad on Monday.
“I’ve worked with my coaching staff for three years, so I know that we will ask the most from ourselves so we can help the players to achieve the club’s goals,’’ The Serbian tactician added.
Watford were relegated to the Sky Bet Championship after losing 3-2 to Arsenal on the final day of the season.
