Sharing is Caring

The death toll in the United States has risen by 638 in the past 24 hours to a total of almost 98,000, according to data collected by Johns Hopkins University.

Early in May, President Donald Trump warned that as many as 100,000 people could die, but suggested it would even be much more.

‘’ We are going to lose anywhere from 75, 80 to 100,000 people. That’s a horrible thing,’’ He said on 4th May.

In March, President Trump said that keeping deaths below 100,000 would be a ‘’very good job’’.

Mr Trump tweeted on Sunday, expressing optimism that the numbers would continue to drop.
