First doses of Covid-19 vaccines will be issued to people over the age of 80 and healthcare workers.
A total of 800,000 doses will be initially administered to the UK residents.
This is going to be the biggest vaccination programme in the history of NHS.
The vaccine will be made up of two regimens 21 days apart.
The vaccines have to be stored under -70 degrees Celsius.
It is reported that the United Kingdom had already ordered 40 million doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine and most of them will be delivered in 2021.
