Simon Dolan, 50, one of the richest UK businessmen is planning to launch a legal challenge against UK government because of the covid-19 lockdown measures which he calls ‘draconian.’
He expects the UK government to either lift or loosen up the lockdown measures.
“Too many people are losing their jobs, people can’t get treatment for cancer, their is suicide, domestic violence,” Said Simon Dolan.
He added:
“It has and will lead to far more deaths from suicide, undiagnosed conditions, untreated conditions – indeed far more than would have been potentially saved by the lockdown.”
The UK government has until May 7 to respond to the legal letter sent by Simon Dolan failure to which he will move to UK High Court and file his legal challenge.
However, the tycoon has promised to abandon the legal case if the government introduces what he calls less draconian restrictions.
Finally, Dolan believes that the government should “reopen schools and allow groups of up to 100 to meet up.”
