Sharing is Caring

Serie A club Torino have parted ways with Walter Mazzarri and replaced him with Moreno Longo following a poor run of results.

Torino have lost their last 4 matches in all competitions conceding a total of 17 goals in those games.

Mazzari terminated his contract by mutual consent after a meeting with club president Urbano Cairo.

β€˜β€™The club wishes to thank the coach and all of his staff for the commitment, fairness, and professionalism shown in these last two years,’’ Said a statement issued by Torino on Tuesday.

Longo is a former Torino player and was previously a youth coach at the club.

Longo managed Frosinone back to Serie A in 2017-2018 but was sacked in December 2017.

Torino will play Sampdoria in their next Serie A fixture. They sit 12th in the Serie A table after 22 games.
