Serie A club Torino have parted ways with Walter Mazzarri and replaced him with Moreno Longo following a poor run of results.
Torino have lost their last 4 matches in all competitions conceding a total of 17 goals in those games.
Mazzari terminated his contract by mutual consent after a meeting with club president Urbano Cairo.
‘’The club wishes to thank the coach and all of his staff for the commitment, fairness, and professionalism shown in these last two years,’’ Said a statement issued by Torino on Tuesday.
Longo is a former Torino player and was previously a youth coach at the club.
Longo managed Frosinone back to Serie A in 2017-2018 but was sacked in December 2017.
Torino will play Sampdoria in their next Serie A fixture. They sit 12th in the Serie A table after 22 games.
