Reports reaching Kerosi Blog is that Toi Market in Kibera was consumed by fire last night from 1 am.
The Toi Market in Kibera fire was seen by witnesses to be burning up to this morning. This is a terrible loss for traders who depend on the market for a livelihood.
The Nairobi City County government has been criticized on social media for their slow response to put off the fire. It allegedly took them 45 minutes to arrive on site with fire trucks with no water.
