Belgium international Thomas Meunier has signed a four-year deal with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

Meunier, 28, spent for seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, winning three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de la Ligue and Coupe de France trophies.

Meunier, who plays as a right-back, is one of the players leaving PSG when his contract expires on June 30 – along with striker Edison Cavani and defender Thiago Silva.

Meunier told Dortmund website: ‘’Borussia Dortmund play the exact football that I want to play: exciting, authentic and natural.

‘’BVB is known for their enthusiastic fans and the atmosphere during the [Champions League] game with Paris at the Signal Iduna Park really influenced my decision.

‘’I am ambitious and, like with Bruges and Paris, I would like to win titles with Dortmund.’’

The former Bruges defender has made 40 appearances for the Belgium national team. He could fill the gap left by Real Madrid loanee Achraf Hakimi whose loan spell ends when the Bundesliga campaign concludes this weekend.
