Thiago Alcantara is set to miss Tuesday’s clash between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munchen.
The midfielder missed Monday’s training session and head coach Hansi Flick confirmed that he’ll not be available for the game at Signal Iduna Park.
‘’Thiago didn’t train,’’ Flick told reporters.
‘’Unfortunately, he’s ruled out for this game. The final secret regarding this line-up, I’d like to keep to myself.’’
Thiago has played 23 times in the Bundesliga this season but sat out during Saturday’s 5-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt due to a groin problem.
In his absence, Flick hopes to see Leon Goretzka continue with his impressive run of form.
Bayern Munich head into the game with a four-point lead over Dortmund at the top of the table.
7 rounds of matches are remaining to end the campaign.
