History has always thought us that life can exist in very extreme environments such as deserts and frozen lands.
However, life does not exist in all parts of the world. Scientists have pointed to us that there is a place in Ethiopia which does not support life.
In fact there is no life in Dallol, Ethiopia. Scientists revealed that there is not even microorganisms.
Dallol is one of the most extreme environment in the world. The place is acidic, salty and hot.
Dallol is filled with toxic gases, salt and boiling water as a result of volcanic activities in the Danakil depression.
These strange findings were published on Nature Ecology and Evolution recently.
