The Kenya Rugby Union has confirmed dates for 2019 Safari Sevens
The Kenya Rugby union has confirmed that 2019 Safari Sevens will be held on the Mashujaa Day weekend (Between 18th and 20th October 2019) at RFUEA grounds.
The Safari Sevens has helped identify Rugby talents in the country. Safari Sevens has been a launch pad for the careers of Rugby greats such as Collins Injera, Humprey Kayange, Steve Gichuki, Ken Aswani, Oscar Osir and Benjamin Ayimba.
In last year’s edition, Samurai emerged as winners.
In 2019 Safari Sevens, the teams to participate include: Russia, Uganda, Hong Kong, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Apache, Ghana, Red Wailers, Nigeria, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, USA, Botswana, Japan, Canada, England, France, Kenya and defending champions Samurai.
