Prince Harry has been accused of endangering the lives of people who will participate in the Invictus Games.
There is a likelihood that Invictus Games will be a target for extremists after he revealed that he killed 25 people in Afghanistan.
The former boss of the Royal Navy called Prince Harry ‘Very Stupid’ for revealing how many people he killed in Afghanistan during the war against the Taliban.
The retired admiral revealed that this revelation will have an impact on the Invictus Games which will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany in 2023.
‘The Invictus Games is very much labelled to him and so I would have thought the threat level there will definitely be higher,’ he told the Sunday Mirror.
‘There will be serious security issues because of what he said. Measures will have to be put in place to protect the veterans.
‘And there will be people who, given half the chance, will want to do something.’
‘The Taliban will be reading (Harry’s claims about killing fighters and) thinking there’s this prince calling us all chess pieces and is quite happy about killing us.
‘And there will be a lot of people, I am sure, in Islamic State and other terrorist organisations, who will think this is something which should be avenged.’
Harry has written a memoir titled “Spare” which has turned out to be very controversial.
In the memoir, Harry wrote that he flew six missions between 2012 to 2013. The Daily Telegraph is reported to have had access to the Spanish copy of the memoir from a bookshop in Spain. In the new publication, Harry wrote that he did not think of those he killed as ‘people’ but as ‘chess pieces.’
‘So, my number is 25. It’s not a number that fills me with satisfaction, but nor does it embarrass me,’ he wrote.
