A teen has been arrested for the crime of violently killing a pedophile priest. The teen who is 19 years old is said to have rammed the crucifix down the throat of a 91 year old priest.
The Catholic priest, Roger Matassoli, is alleged to have sexually abused the teen before he met his death at his home in northern France.
The law enforcers who were called to the crime scene found a dead body. He had signs of having been tortured.
The teen, Alexandre V, was arrested by the police as he tried to escape using the priest’s car and he was subsequently charged of resisting arrest, torture and murder. He was held at the hospital as a result of mental challenges.
The priest had been accused of molesting 4 boys including Alexandre and his father between the years 1960 and 2000.
In 1967, Fr. Roger Matassoli was transferred from Clermont diocese and in 1984 he was again transferred from diocese of Saint-Andrer-Farivillers.
The victim’s father, committed suicide after he learnt about the abuse. Alexandre also attempted suicide.
The French authorities are likely to conduct an investigation based on the available information considering that Alexandre has on numerous occasions told law enforcers that he does not remember anything which happened in the past in regards to the sexual abuses.
