China has launched an anti-trust investigations on Alibaba.
A strongly worded editorial on the ruling party’s newspaper read that if “monopoly is tolerated, and companies are allowed to expand in a disorderly and barbarian manner, the industry won’t develop in a healthy, and sustainable way.”
Alibaba require merchants to sign an agreement which prevents them from providing their products on competing platforms.
