Stephen Seagul, 69, has joined A Just Russia Patriots For Truth party which is pro-Putin.
He announced this during a press conference where he called upon authorities to crackdown on companies “defiling the environment.”
In Nov 2016, President Putin granted Seagal Russian citizenship.
