Sheriff in Austin uses Cardboard cutouts as deputies to fight Crime
Williamson County Sheriff, Robert Chody, has come up with an innovative way to reduce the number of motorists who speed in the area. The strategy is to use cardboard cutouts of one of his deputies to scare the would be speeders in his area of jurisdiction.
“When you’re going 20, 30 miles per hour and you see the silhouette you’re immediately braking slowing down and that’s exactly what we are trying to do,” said Sheriff Robert Chody of Williamson County.
