Sampdoria have confirmed the signing of winger Antonio Candreva from Inter Milan.
The 33-year-old joins Inter on an initial loan deal with an obligation to make the deal permanent.
A statement on Sampdoria’s website read: ‘’ UC Sampdoria can confirm that Antonio Candreva has joined the club from FC Internazionale.
‘’Candreva, 33, joins on an initial loan deal with an obligation to make the move permanent.
‘’Born in Rome on 28 February 1987, Candreva will remain with Sampdoria until 30 June 2024.
Candreva joined Inter Milan from Lazio in 2016 in a €22 M deal.
He made 151 appearances in all competitions for Inter, scoring 18 goals and assisting a further 31.
Inter thanked the Italian midfielder and wished him all the best.
A statement on Inter’s website read: ‘’The Club would like to thank the player for his efforts during his four-year stay at Inter and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.’’
