Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United started from the bench in their Premier League opener against Brighton. The team had faced a number of troubles in the first half until his entry that changed the game.
Ten Hag admitted that when the Portuguese star joined the already under-performing team, they could now create changes that unluckily could not execute.
The Manchester United boss is hoping fitness of Ronaldo to improve faster after missing pre-season training.
