Lukenya Assistant County Commissioner Ms. Elizabeth Karitu has been interdicted after misplacing keys to a container where the upcoming national examinations are kept.
Ms. Elizabeth Karitu and Machakos County Commissioner Elizabeth Maina were detained at the Parklands Police Station in Nairobi on Saturday night.
County Commissioner Ms Elizabeth Maina said that Ms Elizabeth Karitu’s car was broken into and her handbag stolen where she kept the keys when she had gone to Avenue Hospital in Nairobi. Ms Maina also added that Ms. Elizabeth Karitu had been interdicted and plans to replace her are underway. She also confirmed that security has been beefed up at the container.
‘’Security has been beefed up where the container is and efforts made with the KNEC to replace the padlock immediately. ’’ Said Ms Maina adding that there is no cause for alarm.
