The Principal to Rev Jeremiah Gitau Secondary school died on Monday morning on her way to collect KCSE examination materials.
The deceased was using a private car alongside two other teachers who sustained serious injuries. The two were taken to Kijabe Hospital for treatment.
The two are teachers at Kiambogo Secondary and Mustard Seed Secondary Schools.
Reports show that the car they were using rammed into a lorry along Maai Mahiu-Naivasha highway in the early morning hours.
Naivasha Sub-County Police Commander Samuel Waweru confirmed that the Rev Jeremiah Gitau head died on the spot.
Cabinet Secretary for Education George Magoha was in Kisumu yesterday to supervise the opening of examination container. He warned those planning on cheating in this year’s national examination and indicated that they will not receive their results.
