School Bus Driver gets no time in Prison for raping 14-year-old girl
Shame Piche is a driver who is raped a 14-year old girl and his case was handled by New York Judge James McClusky. The judge, defended his resolve not to imprison the driver noting that there was only one victim in the case.
Instead the driver was sentenced to 10 years of probation and many people were surprised that no prison time was offered. The driver had even pleaded guilty for the offense.
The rape victim had met the driver in Watertown City School in New York. The rape happened at the home of the 26-year-old driver on June 2018. The driver was subsequently arrested a couple of months later in September, 2018.

The rapist provided alcohol to the minor hence he endangered the welfare of the child. After the incident Piche lost his job as a driver at Watertown City School district.
Piche will be required to pay fines which includes $1,000 registration fee for sex offenders and $375 as court fees. In addition to that, Piche will not be allowed to be alone with minors aged 17 years and under.
The residents were not impressed at all by the judgement made by McClusky. They signed a petition to agitate towards his being kicked out of the judiciary.
