Savitri Jindal the chairperson of Jindal Group a conglomerate with interests in steel, infrastructure, cement, and power.

Forbes Billionaire List 2025 ranks Savitri Jindal as the richest woman in India with a net worth of $35.3 billion. Overall, she is the third richest person in India behind Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.

 

Savitri Jindal is the only woman on the top 10 richest people in India. Jindal Group was founded by Om Prakash Jindal, her late husband who died in a helicopter crash in 2005. After his death, the business was divided amongst his four sons.

Sajjan Jindal who is based in Mumbai is the boss of JSW Steel, JSW Cement and JSW Paints. He took JSW Infrastructure public back in 2023.

 

In 2024 Sajjan Jindal expanded the business into electric vehicles through acquisition of 35 percent shares in MG Motor India.

 

Naveen Jindal who is based in New Delhi is in charge of Jindal Steel and Power. This year India has added five new billionaires to the list reaching a record high of 205 with a combined wealth of $941 billion which is lower than $954 the previous year.

 

The wealth of Manohar Lal Agarwal and Shiv Kishan Agrawal doubled after the valuation of Temasek’s at $10 billion.

  3. Savitri Jindal – $35.5 billion (Officeplus Headquarters Jindal Group)
  4. Shiv Nadar – $34.5 billion (HCL Technologies)
  5. Dilip Shangvi – $24.9 billion (Sun Pharmaceuticals)
  6. Cyrus Poonawalla – $23.1 billion (Serum Institute of India)
  7. Kumar Birla – $20.9 billion (Aditya Birla Group)
  8. Lakshmi Mittal – $19.2 billion (Arcelor Mittal)
  9. Radhakishan Damani – $15.4 billion (DMart, Investments)
  10. Kushal Pal Singh – $14.5 billion (Real Estate)
