Saudi Arabia one building city project was launched. Saudi Arabia is planning to build a building that is expected to accommodate the whole city. Reports say that the building will be constructed at the desert in the north west of the Gulf country. It will accommodate up to 9 million people and stretch 106 miles across the desert.
Saudi Arabia one building city will be like a line that will be 200 meters wide and 500 meters high. The building will cover over 34 square kilometers according to the design that has been revealed.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman who is the crown of the Kingdom will be the one in charge of the construction of Saudi Arabia one building city.
Reports claim that the entire Saudi Arabia one building city will operate on renewable energy. This means that petrol and diesel auto-motives will not be part of forms of transportation in Saudi Arabia one building city. The city will be operated by artificial intelligence. Some of the technologies that will be employed in the building include; artificial moon, flying taxis, robot maids and a high-speed train.
Saudi Arabia aim to reach 100 million visitors though the building and this will increase the local economy by billions. Saudi Arabia one building city project is named as ‘coined Vision 2030’ and is expected to take years until it’s completion.
Saudi Arabia one building city will be mirrored and is said to enhance human livability. The project is supported by $500 billion by Saudi Arabian Government and investors.
On the others hand there are claims of violation of rights of migrant workers in the Kingdom. This includes unpaid or delayed wages and confiscation of their passports.
