Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira is set to undergo a surgery on Wednesday in a bid to resolve a knee injury.
He missed the 2-2 draw against Sassuolo on Sunday.
Juventus have confirmed that he’ll visit a doctor in Augsburg, Germany for arthroscopic cleaning of his left knee. He’ll be sidelined for a while in order to recover.
He underwent the same procedure on his right knee early this year.
The 32 year old has been a key player for Maurizio Sarri this season, making 17 appearances for Juventus in all competitions.
