Saleh Wanjala, popularly known as Bungoma James Bond has died.
Bungoma James Bond passed away on Monday, September 28 at a county hospital after a short illness.
A family member confirmed the news, saying Bungoma James Bond died shortly after being admitted at the Bungoma County Referral Hospital.
Bungoma James Bond became popular when he hung on a chopper that was ferrying the body of renowned businessman Jacob Juma from Kanduyi airstrip to his rural home in Bumula four years ago.
Bungoma James Bond hung on the chopper for 2 km like famous British actor James Bond.
Bungoma James Bond was later arrested and arraigned in court before being released.
