Rwanda has allowed churches in the country to reopen but they’ll have to adhere to certain measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Churches and schools were shut in mid-March after the country confirmed its first coronavirus case.
Every person who will attend the church services will be registered at the entrance.
The congregants must wear face masks and maintain distance in the church.
Offerings will not be given in cash and children below the age of 12 have been exempted from attending church services.
Rwandans have praised the decision online.
However, bars remain closed and a sections of Rwandans have complained that they should be allowed to reopen.
A total of 1,435 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Rwanda, with the virus claiming 4 lives.
