Rugby Players Frank Wanyama and Alex Olaba found guilty of gang rape
Rugby players Lawrence Frank Wanyama and Alex Mahaga Olaba appeared before Magistrate Martha Mutuku and were charged with a rape offence they reportedly committed in 11th February last year at Seefar Apartments in Highrise Nairobi. They reportedly raped a female musician during her birthday party.
Both players play for The Kenya Harlequins Rugby team.
The duo were found guilty and will appear in court tomorrow for sentencing. The ruling had earlier postponed twice because Alex Olaba missed court sessions at some point leading to a warrant of arrest being issued after he missed for the second time.
