The Anti-corruption court has ruled that Rigathi Gachagua should surrender Ksh. 202 million frozen by the courts because it is proceeds of corruption.
Gachagua is first time MP for Mathira Constituency and UDA presidential running mate for Dr. William Ruto.
Justice Esther Main made the ruling on July 28 indicating that the MP was unable to explain how he earned the money.
Gachagua also failed to provide a copy of the contract between him and the state to supply goods and services.
