The mother of Richard Branson, Eve Branson, the founder of Virgin Group has died of Covid-19. Richard Branson announced on the sad news on Monday.
She was 96 years old when she succumbed to the deadly virus.
Richard Branson credits the start of the Virgin Group to a £100 given to him by his mom after she sold her necklace.
VMS Eve, Virgin Group’s spacecraft is named after her mother. He added that she “will always be my mothership.”
The father of Richard Branson died in 2011.
