On Sunday 11th July 2021, a spaceplane dubbed SpaceShip Two Unity created by Virgin Galactic was launched into space with Richard Branson and five others on board.
The spaceplane was launched from New Mexico. Dave Mackay is the Chief Pilot, Michael Masucci – Pilot, Sirisha Bandla – Vice President Government Affairs and Research Operations, Colin Bennett – lead operating engineer, Beth Moses – Chief Astronaut Instructor.
