Trump is savvy in Evading Taxes – New York Times Revealed!
A new report has revealed that Donald Trump paid no federal income taxes for 18 years. The New York Times had accessed some of Trump’s tax documents from 1995 which showed that he had filed for $915 million losses which made it possible for him to legally avoid paying taxes.
Trump refused to give any comment on this issue saying that the tax records were obtained illegally (these tax records were anonymously sent to a New York Times reporter who had covered Trump’s finances). Hillary Clinton campaign team has termed this revelation as a “bombshell.”
On the other hand, Trump’s supporters have praised him for his ‘genius’ in avoiding taxes. They further said that Trump is the best candidate who understands America’s tax policy.
Trump has always in his campaigns boasted of being a savvy businessman. This revelation that he made huge losses is on the contrary to his claims. For many years, Trump has condemned a number of prominent Americans for not paying enough in taxes. The new report reveals his hypocrisy in the whole issue.
In the past Leona Helmsley claimed that “only little people pay taxes”. Guess what happened to her after making this statement. She was severely criticized. History has shown us that the rich have several ways of avoiding taxes. The latest Trump case on taxes puts him on an awkward situation considering that the 2016 political campaigns are on its homestretch.

During the first presidential campaign debate, Mrs. Hillary Clinton took on Trump by asking him to release his tax records to the public as it has been the tradition since 1976’s Jimmy Carter.
