Real Madrid’s players returned to training on Monday ahead of the planned resumption of La liga in June.
Madrid players were tested for Covid-19 last week and they arrived at Valdebebas to train for the first time since football was suspended in Spain.
The players trained individually with a maximum of six on a pitch at once.
‘’Divided into two rotations, Real Madrid footballers carried out their first individual exercises with and without the ball,’’ The club said in a statement.
Eden Hazard was among those who were pictured training after recovering from injury.
Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Thibaut Courtois were also training alone while Zidane wore a mask as he gave out instructions.
With 11 rounds of fixtures remaining, Barcelona sit on top of La Liga table, 2 points ahead of Madrid.
La Liga’s plan is for players to progress through a phased schedule that will see the players train individually, in small groups and finally in larger team sessions.
The remaining La Liga games will be played without spectators.
La Liga president Javier Tebas told Movistar on Sunday that he hopes the League can resume on June 12th.
