Queen Elizabeth II has spoken. Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Meghan will not appear on the Buckingham palace balcony during the platinum jubilee celebrations.
The Buckingham Palace spokesperson made the announcement today.
The statement from Queen Elizabeth II revealed that the appearance will be for working royals only.
“The Queen has decided this year’s traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday June 2 will be limited to Her Majesty and those members of the royal family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen,” the statement read in part.
That announcement notwithstanding, Prince Andrew and Prince Harry have been invited to other events part of the celebrations.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as working royals 2 years ago while Prince Andrew was expelled from the royal institution over his sexual assault case that saw him pay £12 million to one of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex slaves.
