Just two days after Prighozin’s death in a private jet crash, President Putin has signed a decree forcing Russian paramilitary to swear oath of allegiance to Russia.
The fighters will now swear an oath to the Russian flag. The Presidential decree was signed on August 25. Two days ago, the Wagner boss, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was killed in a road crash.
According to the decree, the fighters must pledge “their loyalty to the Russian Federation…strictly follow their commanders and superiors’ orders, and conscientiously fulfill their obligations.”

Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said that “legally Wagner private military group does not exist,” when asked about the future of the paramilitary group.
