Cesar Azpilicueta and Christian Pulisic will miss Chelsea’s Champions League match with Bayern Munich after limping off in Saturday’s 2-1 FA Cup loss to Arsenal.
Azpilicueta pulled with a hamstring injury few minutes after giving away a penalty that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored to level the scores.
Pulisic, who scored the opener at Wembley, had to be substituted early in the second half after suffering a hamstring injury also.
Winger Pedro also dislocated his shoulder. He had to be given oxygen and stretchered off the pitch.
The injuries are a big blow to Chelsea who will face Bayern at Allianz Arena on Saturday in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League last-16.
Bayern hold a 3-0 advantage over Frank Lampard’s side following the first leg.
The Chelsea boss told a news conference: ‘’I don’t know the full extent of the injuries, but I know it’s the hamstrings with Azpi and Christian.
‘’They have to be scanned and assessed over the next few days. They clearly won’t be fit for next week.’’
