Protesters leave a trail of destruction in Hong Kong
Masked protectors have attacked the government headquarters in Hong Kong. They left behind a “big crime scene” as described by the city’s legislative council.
The young protectors were demonstrating against the city’s extradition bill. They forced their way into the city’s parliament and destroyed everything on their way.
They even used spray paints to write messages on the walls of the main chamber why legislators debate and make laws.
Majority of the protestors were in their teens or early 20’s and were masked and wearing various other protective gears.
They surrounded the LegCo complex before breaking into it. They made use of metal bars to break into the assembly.
The protesters remained within the legislators for up to three hours and they were not attached by the police according to reports by cnn.
Leaders in Hong Kong strongly condemned the protesters, some saying that they had used “extreme …violence and vandalism.”
