A man from Louisiana, USA, drowned as he attempted to propose to his girlfriend while underwater in Tanzania. The resort off the east African coast had an underwater cabin.
Steve Weber was proposing to his girlfriend Kenesha Antoine when they were staying in Tanzania at Manta Resort.
The facility is located off Pemba Island. When the time for proposal came, Weber dived under the submerged cabin or hotel room and swam up to its window. He used a handwritten note to make his proposal.
After making the proposal to his girlfriend, he never returned into the cabin. He drowned leaving behind a note:
