Katerina Tikhonova, 35, a scientist and Mariya Vorontsova, 36, an endocrinologist both daughters of Putin are facing asset freezes and travel bans after being added to the growing list of Russians sanctioned by the EU.
The list targets include politicians who belong to the inner circe of Putin and Oligarchs.
Russia imports which is estimated to be £4.6 billion per year including items such as liquor and vodka will also be banned.
The EU Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen told media.
