Premier League teams will be able to make 5 substitutions, rather than 3, for the remaining part of the season after clubs approved new rules.
Teams will be able to name 9 substitutes instead on the usual 7.
The Premier League is set to restart on 17th June after a three-month hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The League will restart with Manchester City v Arsenal and Aston Villa v Sheffield United.
While each team can make 5 substitutions, each team will still have only 3 opportunities to make changes throughout the game so as to minimise disruption to the game.
IFAB introduced the temporary changes in May as games may be played in a condensed period which could impact the welfare of players.
