Owner of NDTV India Pranoy Roy is an Indian economist, journalist, author and chartered accountant. NDTV was the first independent private news media in India.
Owner of NDTV India pioneered the use of opinion polls in India. Pranoy married Radhika while they were studying in United Kingdom. After their studies, they returned to India and settled down.
Owner of NDTV India graduated from Queen Mary University in London in 1973 with a first class degree in economics. He later worked as a chartered accountant in England and Wales before returning to India.
