Staff at an English animal hospital were left in shock upon responding to a call to go and see some unusual poisonous snake. They discovered that it was a deadly and aggressive snake.
A local stonemasonry company called a team of animal experts to take a way a poisonous snake that arrived in a shipping container from India. South Essex Wildlife Hospital narrated the story in a series of Twitter posts.
“As it was identified as a saw scaled viper and having had one before we understood fully the gravity of just how dangerous these reptiles are, they are way up there in the top few most deadly snakes,” the hospital said.
The saw-scaled vipers are usually found in the dry savannas and arid regions of the Equator of Africa, southwestern Asia, Sri Lanka, Arabia and India.
