Players and Directors at Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have agreed to take temporary pay cuts to help their clubs during the Coronavirus epidemic.
Last week Borussia Monchengladbach players’ were the first club in the German Bundesliga to forego their wages.
Recently, players at Union Berlin announced that they’ll go entirely without their wages. They did not provide a timeframe on how long they’ll go without pay.
Bayern Munich players will take a 20% pay-cut, while Borussia Dortmund players will ‘waive part of their salaries’.
The club’s managers, managers and employees have agreed to be working part-time, which will also result in pay cuts.
