American Airlines flight 5342 crashed with US Army Black Hawk in US capital city Washington DC.
On board of the American Airlines were 60 passengers and 4 crew members non of which survived. Three people on the US Army helicopter also perished.
The accident happened at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. An air traffic controller attempted to guide the helicopter around the incoming plane but it was too late.
Both planes plunged into the Potomac River. This is the deadliest US passenger air crash since 2001.
